Sean McGillivray is the COO, President of Asset Management for Kingsview Partners. He is a Financial Advisor and an operations and technology integration expert. Sean runs the day to day operations of the firm, oversees the administrative staff, sits on the investment committee, and works with the firm’s custodial partners to manage the advisor onboarding process.

Kingsview Partners and its subsidiaries have experienced exponential growth under Sean’s leadership, reaching new investors and advisors alike.  As the ultimate architect of Kingsview’s “Elevating the Standard of Care” mission, he is the steward of the firm’s culture and has positioned Kingsview to offer competitive, value-oriented services.

Sean began his career as a commodities broker at Great Pacific Trading Company in Grants Pass, Oregon where he soon assumed a leadership role as a partner and Vice President of the firm. His time at Great Pacific was instrumental in honing his skills as a financial industry operations expert and entrepreneur as he strategically diversified Great Pacific’s business into financial planning, traditional and alternative investment management, and insurance.

In 2013 Sean left Great Pacific and joined Kingsview to help build out the firm’s branch office network on the west coast. He was quickly promoted to Chief Operations Officer and subsequently President of Asset Management where he has served as a tireless resource to our advisors.

Sean is an avid outdoorsman and a private pilot. He enjoys flying his Cessna in his free time. He lives in Grants Pass, Oregon with his wife Amy and sons Declan and Lochlan.
